Bean Bag Mount
Going to Africa! Need help!?
I’m leaving for Africa in one week! I’ll be in Tanzania around Mount Kilimanjaro. We will be staying in a Masai village and I want to know:
What should I bring (entertainment wise) for the kids?
What should I bring to snack on? (I’m a picky eater and relatively concerned about being able to eat some of the food)
Ideas so far:

- bean bags / soccer ball

Food:
- jar of peanut butter and spoons
- granola bars… etc.
I need things that are easy to pack, and relatively easy to carry…
Any ideas are appreciated! I know many of you will suggest things like school supplies, shoes, and socks but that is separate.. we already have those essentials packed for the children..

Also, I know I put this in Kenya – But hey, Tanzania is in the same region.
Entertainment wise just don’t bring them bracelets or any of the related stuff. Reason because, Maasai are governed by their taboos and traditions which don’t allow such items.
Its hard to tell what gifts to bring to children.. Bring them sweets and Chocolates, I’m sure they will enjoy.
About food: There are hotels around the masai Land so u need not to worry abt it.
