Best Gps Devices For Trucks
Best truck driver GPS?
I’m trying to do a lil research for a future gift for my dad. He does over the road driving to a lot of stops on the east coast. Do any of you have recommendations on devices you used as a truck driver? I’m looking for a larger screen that’s easy to use. It needs to warn for normal truck height and weights plus make it easy for him to find his hard to get to destinations in a large truck. Thanks!
It basically narrows down to one of two brands right now: PC Miler or Rand McNally. They each have different strong points and different pricing. The both also come in 5″ and 7″ screen options. See the link below for the most complete comparison chart I’ve ever found on these. Garmin makes on too but it only comes in the smaller size and doesn’t rate as high for truckers.
