Free Garmin Gps Extras
Is it worth it to wait for Garmin 705 series? Or to just get the Garmin 880?
I am new to the world of GPS units and was pretty sure I wanted to get the Garmin 880 for the voice recognition, plus I found a great deal on it ($568) from a reputable seller on ebay with free shipping.
However, as I was researching I found out that the Garmin 705 series is coming out soon and those models have the Lane Assist feature, see link:

The other difference is that it will be more expensive and it will not have voice recognition. My question is, is the lane assist feature worth waiting for + the extra money? Thanks in advance.
I have not used the Lane Assist feature so can’t say whether it is worth the waiting. But the 7×5 series does not have voice recognition, which you seem to want. You can do a side-by-side feature comparison here:
