The best GPS system in Australia – Tom Tom or Garmin ?
Hi getting a job as a Taxi driver and looking at getting a GPS system. I have searched and scaled my search down to two brands: Tom Tom and Garmin and still undecided whcih one is better.
I’am looking at spending no more than $500 on one can someone please help me out and maybe suggest some models which would be best suited for me.

Well, I’m not in Australia, I’m in New York, but if it helps, we have a Garmin Nuvi, and we love it. I haven’t tried the Tom Tom, so I can’t say how that is. But I have no complaints about the Garmin!
