Garmin Gps Downloads Routes
What’s the problem with my GPS?
I own a Garmin nuvi 270 GPS that I recently updated. I updated the maps copying and pasting a new map file downloaded from the internet and I updated the firmware using the software provided from Garmin’s website. However after updating it experienced some problems using it. Driving around I noticed that the GPS chooses different routes than it was choosing before that at first I thought they were better routes but after a while I noticed that the routes chosen before the update were way better. So now I wanted to fix this problem and I don’t know how. So I was thinking of bringing the GPS back to the way it was before but I dont know how to downgrade the firmware. Any ideas?
Go to Navigation there should be options there on how you want to take the route. Shortest route, shortest time, off road, no traffic, etc. Choose the settings you prefer.
