Garmin Gps Mounting Brackets

I recently bought a garmin c320 unit and I’ve loved it from the start. Now a few months later I’m finding that the bracket that adheres to the windshield via suction is not supporting the unit. When I’m driving the whole thing – the gps unit and the bracket fall off from the windshield and it scares me to death when it happens. I know that the kit comes with an ahdesive patch that is pretty much permanently adheres to the dashboard but one of the things that I love about having this gps is the fact that I can remove it and use it in any other car that I might be driving (not to mention all of my family members who borrow it ) Does anyone know of a way that I can mount the bracket so that it won’t keep falling down? Thanks!
Call Garmin. If it is only a few months old, then they should have no problem hooking you up with a new bracket/suction cup.
Is your windshield clean? Sometimes even a light film on window can cause suction cups to not ‘suction’.
