Garmin Gps New York City
Do I need a pc transfer cable to download maps to my GPS?
I recently purchased the Garmin eTrex legend Hcx. I want to download a map of new york city. The instructions say I need a pc transfer cable. Do I really need this? Why can’t I use the USB cable it came with?
The USB cable that came with your device is also the PC transfer cable. I have a different Garmin unit and I update firmware and maps with it. It should not be an issue.
