How much can a Siberian Husky sell for?
Its a 2- 3 yr old all white female siberian husky(not fixed). My moms bf broke up with him, it was his dog, and now he doesnt want her. We cant keep here so we have to find her a new home.
She’s crate trained, and house trained. Bought from a pet store, shes always taken good care of, she even has chip in her neck that can track her with a gps. Shes very playfull and has never bitten or even growled at any person or other animal.
As far as “papers” go, i dont know much about selling dogs so im guess i dont need any papers if i take her to the vet and get her checked up beforehand. Besides, the owner wont give up her papers so i have no choice.
Any idea how much I could sell her for?
any information that would be helpful to me(unexperienced in buying or selling animals)?
Far from “selling” – it is hard to find GOOD homes at all – and so your best bet is to try and get her into a husky rescue somewhere as once on their books then they tend to keep track of them for the rest of their lives. They also have the experience to know whether the people are genuine or not, and whether they can handle the breed etc.
Do the right thing and find a specific breed rescue – not a general rescue. They would also get her spayed before rehoming which she needs to make sure she isn’t turned into a breeding factory.
Bought from a pet store isn’t good. It means that she had an awful start to life and would not be of good breeding, and with no paperwork either then she is worth next to nothing.
