I need Help Caliberating My Pioneer Avic N2 Navi controls?
My navigation can’t give me accurate calculations. It seems like its always straying off the road into other streets when am on the right road. It tells me to turn down the wrong street at the wrong time. I can’t get it to recognize my home. Is there anything I need to do to calibrate it, whether internal or external, or is there a special place where I need to hookup the GPS Antenna!!! Here is how the setup is in my car!! I have the brain underneath the right side of the BACKSEAT! And the GPS antenna running through the side of the car and sticking to the left side of the Steering wheel, more closer to the door inside the fuse box because thats where it could stick. So you have to open the drivers door and then open the fuse box to see it! SHOULD I HOOK in another place or is there some internal settings I need to correct!!

For one thing, the antenna needs to be under the windshield on the dash or on the roof. It has to be able to “see” the satellites.
You usually need to go into setup mode and set your general location.
Last, but not least, do you have the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense) wire connected properly? Because if not, the nav can’t tell how fast you’re going and will know your position only when it does an update from the satellite.
