Is anyone having problems with GPS systems?
I have a Portable GPS for my car it is made by Pilot Automotive and the model # is NAV-900 I have not been able to aquire a signal and when I called tech support they are telling me there was a problem with the satellites due to the recent transition to digital cable. They told me to wait for about a week and the satellite are due to be reprogrammed. This explanation seems a bit odd, has anyone else had any issues with thier GPS system?

This is the most absurd thing I have heard since I have been on Yahoo Answers... and I've heard of some very strange things!
This is total BS. My wife was in CA on travel twice in the last 2 weeks using our car with GPS in it. No issues at all.
If this is an example of their customer service, it shows you got ripped off by buying this off brand which I have never heard of.
Gee... I did a google search and right away I find stuff like this" "Beware of the Pilot GPS. They have NO updates and NO customer support. The data you receive with these is as least two years old and as far as I can find, will never be updated. The price here is way to high also. If you want a GPS, check into ones that CAN be updated."
