GPS Implants for dogs?
Does anyone know of a GPS chip that can be implanted under the dogs skin, similar to the ID Microchip? Both of my dogs are microchipped already – but we are moving out to the country (does have satellite coverage). They property is fenced but they are terriers and they are escape artists. Out in the country they are less likely to be picked up by a person and have their microchip scanned, so if they escape I want to be able to go find them. I know there are a ton of collar GPS trackers for dogs out there – but I don’t want to risk them being lost or damaged, and the dogs are small so that would be uncomfortable for them, so I want to have them implanted.
No such thing. The antenna and power requirements make it impossible for the forseable future.
