What are some future technologies for sports/ getting calls right?
For football, I know that a professor at Colombia is developing a gps/accelerometer technology for the NFL, and that FIFA tested out a device to tell if the ball crossed the goal line, but are there any others?
They have line verifications in both tennis and hockey. They also use cameras for th challenge feature in the NFL.
