Gps Coordinates Conversion

geocaching gps coordinates!!?

I just got a Magellan triton 400 and im trying to plug in the coordinates but when i plug in the longitude it ends up wayyyyy off. is there a certain conversion for it? from atlanta it goes all the way to california

Co-ordinates can be written in several different formats. Geocaching.com uses mindec format or DD° MM.MMM. Your gps may not be setup for that format. Try going into setup and looking for something to do co-ordinate set-up. You should be able to down load cache information directly into you GPS from geocaching.com using a USB cable.
