Garmin 60 Cx or 60 Csx?

Whats the difference between them and is it worth the extra money?
This is for quading so how tough are these GPS’s and how water tight are they?

The only difference is that the cx has a barometric altimeter, the csx does not. They both have sd-card slots. An altimeter is important because it can improve the accuracy of the GPS

The csx has a micro-sd card reader, the cs does not. The sd-card makes it possible to upload a lot more maps to the unit, so it is worth the extra money it in my opinion.

The 60cs is watertight ( I think they advertise 30 minutes under 1 meter of water ) and it is a fairly rugged device. If you plan to mount the device on your quad-bike, this device may not be the best option for you as it has a fairly small screen and does not do driving directions too well, but it is excellent for topo navigation and is very accurate and is excellent for hiking/hunting.

Also, the 60cs is discontinued, so you will not get support for it.
