how to hook up a tomtom to play through car speakers?
So the TomTom Go GPS devices allow you to hook up an ipod so you an navigate it using the TomTom’s touch screen. It is my understanding that if you want the music to play through your car speakers instead of the TomTom speakers you would hook up the TomTom to the auxiliary outlet on your CD player. Well my factory radio does not have an auxiliary plug. So is there a way to hook up the TomTom through the factory wiring like the same way you would hook up an amp or sub woofers or something like that? And if you did it like that, would the TomTom be permanently in the car until you unhooked everything, or does it have plugs that you can remove out of the TomTom so you can take it out of the car?
buy a fm transmitter for your i pod and plug it in to ur tomtom, set the radio station on the fn trans mitter to match ur radio
