Sprint Family Locator?
I’ve recently set up SFL on my cell phone(s)
I was wondering if anyone knew some examples of the “monthly reminder” texts, as in… what 4 digit number was the reminder text from? I have a family member staying with me that I’m supporting and would like to ensure that I am not supporting someone that isn’t really going to work or someone that’s doing things they shouldn’t be during the day. I know the whole GPS thing is pretty controversial but I do feel that it’s been helpful in this situation. I want to block these short codes b/c every time it sends her a message she shuts her phone off until I return home (and swears she does turn it off when I ask.)

Regardless of the shortcode the Sprint Family Locator [SFL] text message is sent from (its “9489″), the fact remains, you cannot block it. These text messages are sent as a security feature of SFL and so Sprint prevents you from blocking them.
