Gps Fedex Truck
How do couriers for UPS, Fedex, or DHL know where to go to deliver packages?
Do the trucks have GPS to help you find places to deliver to or do you have to know where to go yourself?
For the most part, when taking the job, the shipping company requests that the delivery drivers have a basic knowledge of the area they are covering. If they need to deliver to an unfamiliar address, they will probably use a map. However, in some larger metro areas, Seattle, Chicago, New York, ect. It may become more confusing to find addresses, so some vehicles are outfitted with a GPS to help locate the address and how to get there.
Hope this helps!
