I need a GPS camera that will take a photograph at a set distance interval?
I know there are many GPS cameras available that geotag your photos, and some can even be set to take a photograph at a set ‘time’ interval, such as every 30 seconds for example. I need a camera that can be set to take a photograph every 5 meters when traveling in the car in order to create a visual survey of a road which I maintain. I plan to link the images to my GIS system. What equipment do I need and where can I get it?
u need to fix a digital kilometer reader like used in Taxi, using an additional circuit which will click the camera like remote camera.
or u need a timer, check the traveling speed of the car calculate distance & time cover in 1kms, then set the timer for 5kms
example 1kms i 2minutes
then set the camera timer for 5kms X 2minutes = 10 minutes
