Gps Jamming Device

Can a car theif easily jam a VHF tracking device, if so how cheap is the gadget for them to buy?

I thinking about buying a tracking device for my car, but ive been told GPS trackers can be jammed, so can a VHF tracker be jammed, if so is the equipment easy to get hold of and cheap for the criminal?

Any radio signal can be jammed, if you know the exact frequency. But, jamming involves transmitting a signal on the same frequency, then that jamming frequency can be tracked.
