There are also other products that allow you to call the phone number associated with the portable GPS device and it sends back a text message with its exact location. The device will not alert the wearer or ring or do anything to let them know that their location is being tracked.

 

One downfall of the super small size of these portable GPS chips is that with the smaller size, the battery life is shorter as well. That lessens the lifespan of the device’s tracking duration.
