What GPS is the best one?

Is Nextar a good one? It’s on sale this week at Kmart for 99.00. DOes anyone know anything about this one or which one is good?

Nextar is an ok company it depends on the model some SUCK and some are ok for the price. In terms of GPS the top companies are Garmin, Magellan, and TomTom with my personal preference being Garmin

Edit: There is a little more to it than name brand. The general satellite service is free and is ran by the government. But the maps and the unit you do and are having to pay for. Different companies use different map for the most part maps are about the same but some maps can not be as detailed. Some companies do not even update their maps so you can be left with an obsolete unit if you are in a city that is experiencing rapid development. Most cheaper units under $90 the actual electronics of the device will make the unit constantly freeze, no longer acquire a signal for the satellite, or not power on at all anymore.

If you find out the model of the Nextar try going to amazon and reading the consumers reviews on the product to see if it is worth buying.
