Gps Milwaukee Wi

Is anyone familiar with the River Walk in Milwaukee, WI?

I’m in Milwaukee on business and have been trying to figure out exactly where the River Walk is located. I have a general address of North Water Street and another one of 1000 N. 3rd Old World St. Basically, I need something I can program into my GPS. Also, is there a parking lot or a garage? Is it nice? Are there good restaurants along there? It’s hard to find info on it.

The best way to access the River Walk is to park near the CHASE bank on 111 E. Wisconsin Ave, in downtown. You can probably find that building with your GPS with no problems. There are tons of parking garages available near this avenue, but it costs less to park on the street, especially on weekends. In the plaza in front of the Chase Bank building there is a map of the River Walk and signs guiding the River Walk pedestrians.

It’s very nice, especially if the weather is peaceful and warm. There are tons of public art pieces along the River Walk, boats passing through, and even boat rentals.

There are lots of restaurants and bars to choose from, I’ve only been to one of them though. It’s called the Safehouse, a very interesting place.

I’ve heard good reviews from friends about the Sandford Restaurant, Cafe Rouge, the Capital Grille, and the irish pub that’s also along there.
