cell phone in a different country help please!!!?
I’m going to New Zealand this summer, I am currently in the USA. On my phone (verizon service) I have a GPS navigator. Will that work in New Zealand too?
And, will I be able to texts my friends back in the USA with the current phone I have now? Or, will I be charged? And, will I be charged for incoming texts?

It depends on which device you have. Not all of Verizon’s phones work internationally. Your best advice is to dial *611 send from your phone. This is a free call to customer service 24/7. They will be able to advise what your phone capabilities are. Also.. they do offer a program that allows you to rent a phone to use overseas and they can offer excellent packages to allow you to call and text.
