Garmin Nuvi 255W GPS – map install?
Hi there, I’m going to Costa Rica on Monday and I want to bring my GPS with me. I recently updated my Garmin mapsource and then I got a map of Costa Rica to show up under Tools, Settings, Map, Map Info – I can see it there with a check next to it with the North American map as well. But when I attempt to enter an address and modify the country and type the letter C it only gives me Canada as option.
Basically I have the map on my garmin, but I’m not able to enter an address in for CR. I’m stuck within North America, Virgin Islands, Canada.
Volvo, try putting in the name of the city you are going to like San Jose or where you are going. Sorry to hear you are going there. I went in 09 for surgery and it turned out the worst time, experience and trip of my life. Hopefully you are going just for vacation and somewhere near the ocean and rain forest, or butterfly farms.
