GPS ON MY SAMSUNG OMNIA II?
Hi, Can anyone tell me how to use GPS on my Samsung Omnia II. I just received this phone as a gift from Italy. I could not see any software/application showing maps(like the one in Nokia E75). Do I need to buy it seperately?. if yes, which software I should choose?
You can get Google Maps (download the CAB from Google) which is free. By default, the GPS is set to 911 only so you need to put the location on in the general phone settings. Also, I’d recommend downloading GPS toggle (also free) to turn it on in the Today screen for even better results.
