Do you think a compass would work on the moon? How about GPS?
I was just curious, Would a compass or GPS function properly on Mars or any other planet other than Earth?
The Moon doesn’t have a dipolar field – so compasses wouldn’t work.

A GPS would only work if someone put up the satellites needed, orbiting the moon.
