Personal Video Players and PDAs. I need help from an expert.?
What I am most looking for is a device to show photos. I’ve looked at the Archos 605 and love it for the quality of its display. Photos look fabulous. But I don’t really want a video player, which is this gadget’s primary use. If I’m going to pay $300 to show photos (the screen here is about 4 x 6 and has a res of about 400 x 800. Wow.) then I’d like the gadget to do some other things, like operate as a PDA, or even a portable GPS. I hardly know which device to look at. A PVP with other capabilities; a PDA which shows photos really well for a PDA.; or a portable GPS which could double as photo display. Any ideas as to how to blend these “needs” into one device? Priorities are: 1) Good (though not necessarily best) photo display. 2) PDA calendar and phone settings stuff, notes, outlook, etc; 3) a portable GPS. Help me if you can.
