Questions about GPS systems?
Which is best: Garmin, Tom Tom, Mio, or something else?
Is there a monthly fee that is required to use it?
Where do you install them in the car? The dash, winshield?

I’ve had a Garmin for a couple of years and highly recommend them. Mio is low end stuff, the TomTom I hear is a good system. But I can only recommend what I know for sure the Garmin is good. They have nice features like being able to add custom Points of interest ie. Starbucks, H-D dealers etc. so when you are traveling you can find what you want. And if when you get it and it doesn’t come with the most up to date maps they will send you a DVD with the newest maps for free, I’ve heard bad stories of other brands that come with old maps and want to charge a lot for the newest maps.
