do ipod touches have GPS receivers?
I am going on a two week trip in a few week and do not have a GPS, but I do have a 32 gb ipod touch that i believe is third generation. does the ipod touch have a GPS receiver that I could use for my trip??? thanks
it all depends – no u cannot use it as a gps but it has a maps app
first u need wireless internet – then open maps app – then type in your address ( where u r leaving ) then type in where u r going
once u set this up it automatically saves it for you and gives u a map and streets
then just click next or the arrow to go on to the next streets
but once u leave the wireless it wont work cause it doenst have unlimited connection like an iphone
