Gps Runner Tracking
Why can’t the NFL put gps tracking into the game?
Wouldn’t it be great if there was gps technology in football. put a little transponder in the football. you’ll always know for certain what the proper ball placement is. you’ll always know if the runner made the first down. you’ll always know if the ball crossed the goal line.. you’ll always know if the ball crossed the goal line inside or outside the pylon. heck you’ll even know if the ball travelled 10 yards before touched during on-sides kicks. it seems like it would be rather easy to institute.
what do you think?
one reader says that gps isn’t that precise… agreed. but… there has to be some scaled down model that could be used … even if it’s just to determine the ball crossing the goal line.
GPS technology isn’t that precise yet….
