Is it better to update my maps or to buy a new GPS?
I have a Garmin Nuvi. It is about 4 years old. I can update the maps once for $50, or get a life time update for $90. I can buy a new one on sale that is nicer than the one I have for $129.
Which is the best way to go?
How long do these GPS’s generally last before the stop working all together?
It’s kind of difficult to answer really I’ve had my garmin navi about 6 years now and it still works OK! But I’m reluctant to upgrade the maps due to the fact that it’s probably near the end of its life.
Mine has not seen much use considering I’ve had it so long.
