Gps Starbucks

ipod touch, no stupid answeres?

I know the ipod touch is wifii capable and can use any internet signal to go to youtube, gps, internet etc.. But i don’t have internet signal in my car, that suggests that you can only use non internet stuff unless you are in starbucks, home or a place with internet signal.
If thats the case, can you purchase an internet service and if you can how much is the fee? Is it cheaper to just get the iphone?
Thanks

go to a call phone store and buy a wireless card and service the fee is dependent on the allocation of services you desire. AT+T is mac’s offical partner I would ask them for a price
