Apple iPhone/iPod Touch Alternatives?
If only the two products could combine… I’m a blogger looking for a mobile device that can achieve the following:
- Play music
- Built in camera
- Internet access
- GPS
- Twitter
If there’s a device out there that can do all that, please tell me about it! I don’t want a phone, just something I can take with me and report about stuff with.
I’ll be leaving the country next month, so having a cell phone plan would just be inconvenient since I’ll purchase a phone plan in the other country.

Well this is tough. You have 2 options. Go for a Full Sized Laptop or a Dell Mini or HP Mini which are NetBooks. They can have music, the Dell Mini has GPS, Both can have internet access through WIFI or through a Paid Agreement through a Provider like Verizon, AT&T,etc, Most have webcams also. In My opinion it sounds like a Tablet Notebook or the Rumored Apple Tablet would be good for your situation. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me. Good Luck.
