How do I get my Garmin Nuvi 255w to find me?
I just got a new GPS. I set it up and I guess I didn’t have a good view of the sky when it did the initial acquiring satellite thing because it continually tells me I am in Toronto, Ontario when in fact I am in Vancouver, British Columbia. How can I reset it to do the acquiring satellites at start up thing?
When you turn you GPS on it will locate it current position. Make sure it has a clear view of the sky. If when you first turned it on did you mark the location shown as Home? If so you need to delete that location and remark the correct location. Hope this helps.
