The Apple iPhone 3G VS. the 3G S. Is it worth it?
I do not have an iphone, but am eligible to upgrade my blackberry through ATT. I see pricing for a 3G and 3G S. I understand the 3G S has a compass and a video camera. Are there any other differences?
Is it worth the extra money for the 3G S? Does the 3G have the capability to use GPS, of course without the compass, but to pinpoint where you are (as opposed to giving you directions like a maps app)?
As far as memory goes, what is recommended? I see 8gb, 16gb and 32gb, but that is all greek to me.
Anybody want to point me in the right direction?? I am clueless!!
I have an iPhone 3G, the differences in between the 3G and the 3G S are it downloads apps faster, it has a faster internet speed, as you know it has a video camera, and a compass.
I think it is worth the extra money for the 3G S because I right now own an iPhone without a video camera or built in compass. Yes the iPhone 3G S has a GPS to pinpoint where you are, but so does the 3G.
Memory all depends on how much music, video, and apps and would have on your iPhone.
8gb = 2000 songs
16gb = about 3600 songs
32gb = 8000 songs
(thats just what i’ve heard)
I would go with the 16gb personally but if you are huge music person or if you are going to record alot of video then you might want the 32gb (thats just a guess)
