Gps Vw Passat
Car got broken into in Houston area and I need help 
?
My car got broken into , I lost my GPS unit and my sunglasses total worth around $400. This is my first time and I need help. First of, I just moved here in Houston area around 2 months ago for my temporary job. So the car has michigan plate on it, and have AAA insured under michigan law.
Can anybody tell me what should I do next?

File your insurance through AAA. Mention only a temporary visit to this area and treat the incident as though it was a TRAVEL RELATED incident. You can file on your COMPREHENSIVE insurance if need be. (MOST folks from MI dont have adequate INS) Hope you do. For a GPS machine and a check for a few dollars to use it ,call the TAYLOR Group in Houston. They are testing units and will install and pay you to do periodic surveys.
