shall i buy an ipod touch 8gbs 4g or a $300 to $350 phone like sony ericsson xperia x10 mini pro?
i was thinking of buying an ipod touch 8gb for this christmas and was wondering if it was a good idea or shall i buy an sony ericsson xperia x10 mini pro or a phone worth $300 – $400? i was also wondering if i should buy it now or wait for boxing day cz there are usually big specials and atm at the warehouse nz the ipod touch is $325nzd which is the cheapest i guess so what should i do? what other types of phones are there which i could buy and which has great features like wifi,gps,android,and other great features? is the ipod touch good 4g? or what other things could i buy for christmas?
please help me choose either one cz i’m really confused or shall i buy the ipod touch and buy the phones next yr as the next yr ones will have more features and i also have a phone atm or shall i wait for the ipod touch till next yr and buy a phone as it is quite old now??

Well i love my iPod and honestly I think they are better then a phone. But I think it would be better to buy a 16gb mine is 8 and I
have about 450ish songs 60 ish apps and some video but they dont take up much space. If you have lots of songs and apps buy a 16gb because the newest iPod only has. 6.5gb capacity. Mines older and I only have 1.50 gb left. And dont wait for the sales they r a rip off
