How long does an address change take to show up on Yahoo or Google Maps or GPS systems?
In June, the 911 emergency system decided that in order to “avoid confusion” changed many the house numbers on the street on which I live. I think it has actually caused more confusion. I still see it is listed under the former address on Yahoo and Google Maps as well as GPS systems. I don’t know which address to place in an advertisement for a tag sale since I have already changed the number on the house to comply with the 911 change. When are Yahoo, Google and GPS going to play catch-up?
For GPS systems it may take years and if someone does not upgrade his maps, never!!
Yahoo and Google may take as long.
