GPS guidance from the ‘friend zone’ survivor to boyfriend? help eh?
So, I’ve known this really nice girl, lets call her Theresa, since like H.S.. I’ve always had a thing for her, but believe I’m pretty deep in the ill-fated Friend Zone, yeah it sucks. She’s a great girl, and we’ve gone out a few times. It seems like I take her out once or twice a semester and then everything just fizzles. One of my friends asked whether she had a BF 2 weeks ago and she said ‘not at the moment’, he said it means she’s looking. She also says she’s very busy with school/work etc. How do I get out of the friend zone and show myself as BF material?
You NEED to tell her your intentions, or she’s just going to walk all over you. If you never say out loud “I do like you && I AM pursuing you” or something like it, she will use you as just another night out or someone to pay for her meal. Sorry but that’s the truth. The only way to get out of the friend zone is by telling her how you feel about her && that you wish to be more than friends. You’ll feel a lot better once you know what HER intentions are too…
