Can you Use a Lowrance iFinder Pro GPS to track dogs.?
What you are asking about is nothing more than a poorly rated and overly expensive hand held GPS receiver. If you think about your question for a second, a GPS receiver picks up signals from GPS satellites and through triangulation, determines your location on the surface of the earth.
Now that I have told you how GPS works, how in the heck can a hand help GPS unit be used to “track dogs”?
In order to track anything, whatever you are tracking has to have something on it that is sending out a signal of some sort. Are these dogs you are wanting to track sending out some sort of signal that you have not told us about? If these answer is no, then you will not be able to “track dogs” with GPS.
I suppose you could track the dogs yourself and have a GPS receiver in your hand so you don’t get lost… but unless that is what you mean, the answer is NO! LOL!!
