Is there a monthly fee associated with GPS navigation?
I’m conisdering buying my husband this GPS navigator:

I don’t see anything saying there’s a monthly service fee so once we plug it in, is it good to go? Any other information someone might have would be great since I’m out of my element here!

If you want map updated, you’ll need to pay. But that’s optional.
Some traffic receivers require a subscription. However, this is being phased out.
