Magellan Gps With Traffic
GPS Navigation System in NYC Area?
I live in Long Island, and I drive through NYC and Jersey all the time. I haven’t had very good luck with GPS navigation systems. I’ve used a few iPhone apps, I used to have a Magellan something or other, and I have a Garmin 755T now.
In a lot of areas, such as Brooklyn, I get bad routes that go through local roads with a lot of traffic lights even though the system thinks they’re “highways”. In other areas, such as Manhattan, I can’t even get a decent signal lock because of the tall buildings. Not to mention the inaccuracy of the real time traffic updates.
Has anyone had any luck with GPS navigation in the NYC area?
