Motorola Gps Microphone
Can a 911 dispatcher key up the lapel mic on a motorola trbo portable radio and listen to what ever they want?
I was given a new Motorola “TRBO” portable radio at my fire department and I know they have GPS where they can be tracked and I know the dispatcher can shut the radio down and things of that nature, I have also heard they can key up the microphone and listen into what’s going on around the radio…I just want to know if this is in fact true?
Yes, That’s definitely true it is possible with digital radios, the dispatch can do and will have in total control of your radio, what ever they wants to do with it remotely.
