Pharos Gps Cf Card
I have a handheld with a CompactFlash Type II Card Slot (3.3v), can I connect a GPS with CF type I?
My handheld is a Dell Axim X51v with a CompactFlash Type II Card Slot (3.3v) and I want to buy the MS Streets & Trips with Pharos GPS, which has a CompactFlash Type I adapter. I am not sure if they are compatible.
Yes, you can use a Type I card in a Type II slot. Since the Type II cards are thicker, the reverse is not true. The Type II slots are designed to accept either type.
