Portable Gps By Garmin
Will a radar detector and portable GPS unit interfere with each other?
I just bought a Garmin 255W (great unit, by the way) and am a beginner in the portable GPS market. I put it in the bottom center of my windshield and never thought about my Beltronics RX65 Radar Detector that is next to it. Will this cause radio interference problems in the long term or anything like that? I have had this little bugger for only a few days and it does not seem to be causing any issues now. Just wanna make sure.
No they will not. They’re running on different frequencies, and the detector doesn’t send out any signals, it only receives them.
