which gps system works best ?

im a college student. Me and friends are gonna rent a 7-seat van/suv. We are gonna drive from philadelphia to DC, NY, Boston (and sight seeings, universities along the way), then back.
We are looking for an easy-to-use, reliable gps system for the 10 day trip.
Any suggestions?
