Am I wrong for being worried?
My friend is going thorough a divorce. We have a committed relationship and plan on being together once the divorce is complete. He was supposed to come to work monday at 11 and no one heard from him, I got a call asking why he didn’t show up. I really got worried as he lives by himself. I called his phone, texted him and even called the ex-wife. No answer from anyone. Here he had a gall stone attack and was in the Hospital….he ended up calling me very late saying he left his phone in the car and couldn’t call. Ever since he has been making fun of me saying he needs a gps device for me and maybe even a spy camera. He is also texting me like every hour and calling me just to check in. I don’t think he’s funny because I do really care about him and what happens to his well-being.. Am I wrong for caring about him so much ? By the way I found out later the ex-wife was with him at the Hospital.

So in times of real trouble he’ll call on his Not Yet Ex Wife, but not you? Let her know what’s going on, but not you? Could make that phone call to her, but didn’t have time to call you? Or was she there, on hand, when it happened?
I would be questioning why.
