How do I change the main email address on my xbox Live Account?
I’ve had my xbox Live account for nearly three years and would like to change the main email address on it. I tried https://accountservices.passport.net/ppnetworkhome.srf?vv=550&lc=1033 link but it said that my Xbox Live address cannot be changed. Could someone tell me why it wont change? Thanks.
Your Xbox Live address is actually your Windows Live ID. It’s used to log into a number of Microsoft-related sites. Currently Microsoft doesn’t offer the option to change your Windows Live ID, so that’s why your Xbox Live address can’t be changed.
You can change your contact email for Xbox Live, though. That’s easily done by going to Xbox.com and managing your account settings.
