TomTom GPS for iPod Touch 4G?

Hi everyone.
I just bought the New iPod Touch 4G, and i am going on vacation very soon. I am just wondering, if i buy the TomTom GPS app, will it work for the iPod Touch 4G without internet, or do i have to be constantly connected to the internet for this application to work successfully? I have noticed alot of questions similar to mine on yahoo answers, but nobody asked about the 4G iPod Touch. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Obviously no it dsnt run in wifi..
U have to buy this other accesory its not optional item you MUST buy it to make it work .
