Tractor Gps Guidance Systems
I own a John Deere 4555 tractor, i want to put a GPS guidance system on it, what do i need?
Like i said, i own a John Deere 4555 four wheel drive tractor. I’m looking for a guidance system to put on it. I’ve been on John Deere’s web site, but i cant quite figure out what i need exactly. I want 1 inch pass to pass accuracy, but i cant figure out what i need. My neighbor who lives a km away has an antenna which send out the signal, he said i could connect to it. So my question is, what do i need on my tractor. Thank you very much. and no bull shit answers please. I want an honest answer from someone who knows what they are talking about.
you will need a few heavy duty servos, [ to steer it]
and stop it, engage and disengage the clutch, operate the break, & throttle,
a computer to process the info, a gps unit, a antenna
and some solenoids, to start
a extra battery
